This is the first test to export the document from Google Docs into my blog.

Instructions:
  1. Login in the Google account (using gmail login/pass);
  2. Create new document and edit it
  3. Publish this document (more about it here).
The last step will require to set up your blog settings. More details on how to do it here.

Benefits: saving feature, auto save and etc.

Drawbacks: the title of a post would be empty.

eCalendars (con't)

In general, I like using eCalendars. They are getting more popular. By the time of the first "eCalendars" post I got used to AirSet calendar. However, it changed when Google calendar became more flexible.

Nowadays, I'm quite used to my office ecalendar -- I used to fill it every day with my working hours and deadlines :)

Functional vs Extra Functional Requirements

Today's industrial practice largely separates the design for functional and extra-functional requirements. While the functional design transforms functional requirements into a logical model that consists of objects and idealized interactions, the extra-functional design (the "architecture") transforms extra-functional requirements into an architectural model that consists of components and possibly frameworks. Merging both design paths yields the final system.

Extra-functional requirements (also known as nonfunctional requirements) are constraints regarding quality (e.g. usability, performance, security, maintainability) and economics (e.g. time, cost) of process as well as product components.

DUWO

I got the first bill from my accomodation office just before the New Year. It arrived at my box on Friday. Since I was too lazy to check my mailbox early in the morning by the time I did it, it was too late for the visit to DUWO. They are closed at 12pm on Friday.

In my contract, it is mentioned that I should pay my bill before 1st of the month. The story with my bank is yet another story. The problem with the bill was that I got it twice. Two letters, different sums. "What is going on?", I thought. I've decided to pay one bill with my rent. Another bill was with very strange sum... And no explanation, nothing.

Today I've called DUWO office and talked couple minutes with the personnel. Curious, the lady was confused with the sum and was not able to give any explanation. Her only guess was that somehow during the process of converting the old system into the new system, such a mistake occured... which sounds really stupid.

Finally I was told that if there would be no more letters from DUWO, I should just forget about the bill.

It is "amazing" - first, DUWO wanted to charge everyone for the broken lamp bulbs; then, they sent strange bills and give no excuse or whatsoever...

Amazing...
